The Art Institute of Houston Campus Map Guide/Handout Poster - Infographic Design

Designed a Campus Map Guide/Handout Poster of The Art Institute of Houston to solve one of the main problems of navigation through out the campus.

By designing this map with graphics that corresponded to each course of study would help solve the problem of where to find the students classroom, academic services and even help visitors manage their way through the building even if they are visiting the medical clinics on the fifth floor. This was also very useful for the new students not to feel hopelessly lost on their first week of classes.

This Campus Map also turns into a Handout for students, visitors and faculty members to carry in their pockets and have it accessible at any given time
when needed. It fold down into a square for easy storage.

I explored the highly utilitarian problems in which the functional requirements of design were critical in making the data and information understandable
and accessible to the campus students, visitors and faculty members. I used the principles of language, structure, emphasis, diagrammatic interpretation
and the visual display of information to explore the context of applied problems. This map had been circulated and displayed
through the campus. It was honor to have had my work selected to solve this main navigational problem of the campus.
